39550 Lateral hypothalamic areaPrecommissural nucleus moderateCTB
a distinct cluster of labeled neurons was found in the anterior perifornical region of the lateral hypothalamic area, dorsal to the fornix at midrostrocaudal levels of the paraventricular nucleus (Fig. 3F,G).
Canteras N.S & Goto M., 1999
39560 Lateral hypothalamic areaPrecommissural nucleus light/moderateCTB
unlike the perifornical region, which, as described above, appears to provide substantial inputs to the PRC, the rest of the lateral hypothalamic area presented relatively sparse numbers of retrogradely labeled neurons in our retrograde tract-tracing experiments (Fig. 3E–L).
Canteras N.S & Goto M., 1999
General description technique/protocol: In four experiments, the deposit of the tracer appeared to be fairly confined to the PRC. The appearance of a representative CTb injection site in the PRC is shown in Figure 2....The results of this experiment are described in detail, because the injection site virtually was confined to the PRC and, at the same time, involved most of the nucleus.
