robust retrograde labeling was present in Entl, especially at rostral levels, and a light one in the medial entorhinal cortex (Fig. 3L–Q). Collator note: ENTl is strongly labeled rostrally, in all its parts. See Fig 3L-N, Swanson Atlas Levels 33-37.

Collator note: ENTl is labeled caudally in layer III. See Fig. 3O-P, Swanson Atlas Levels 42-44.

General description technique/protocol: This case has a large FG injection in APir which involved slightly the caudolateral part of the posterior basolateral amygdaloid nucleus (Figs. 1, 2A). The results suggest that APir receives widespread inputs, most of them from ipsilateral telencephalic regions (Fig. 3; Table 1). Collator note: large FG injection in the TR, mid-rostrocaudally. The core of the injection is placed in the TR, Swanson Atlas Levels 35-36, but a small part of the halo extends minimally into COApm and more rostrally into BLAp. The entire injection is mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Levels 33-36.
