90572 Entorhinal area, lateral partLateral nucleus of the amygdala moderatePHAL
The lateral and accessory basal nuclei received a moderate projection. Collator note: LA is labeled in its caudal half. See Fig. 3C1-F1, Swanson Atlas Levels 29-33
McDonald AJ & Mascagni F., 1997
90595 Entorhinal area, lateral partLateral nucleus of the amygdala strongPHAL
There was a very strong projection to the lateral, basal and accessory basal nuclei in case E-88 (Fig. 3A2–G2). Collator note: LA is strongly labeled mostly caudally. See Fig. 3 E2-F2, Swanson Atlas Levels 31-33.

90596 Entorhinal area, lateral partLateral nucleus of the amygdala moderatePHAL
Collator note: moderate labeling of the LA, mid-rostrocaudally. See Fig. D2, Swanson Atlas Levels 30-31.
McDonald AJ & Mascagni F., 1997
General description technique/protocol: The amygdaloid projections in case E-24 were typical of animals with injections into the DL (Fig. 3A1–G1). The injection site in this case involved layers III–V of the dorsal part of the DL at middle rostrocaudal levels of this cortical region (Figs 1E, 2A). Collator note: injection into the mid-rostrocaudal ENTv. dorsolaterally placed, below the rhinal fissure. The injection is mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Levels 38-39.
