90570 Entorhinal area, lateral partBasolateral nucleus of the amygdala posterior part strongPHAL
There was a strong projection to the basal nucleus that mainly terminated in the lateral part of the magnocellular (Bmg) and parvicellular subdivisions (Figs 3C1–F1, 4A). Collator note: caudally, BLAa is weak-moderately labeled. See Fig. B1-E1, Swanson Atlas Levels 27-31.

90598 Entorhinal area, lateral partBasolateral nucleus of the amygdala posterior part strongPHAL
Collator note: strong labeling in the caudalmost part of the BLAp. The label is tending to agglomerate to the medial part. See Fig. 3F2, Swanson Atlas Levels 32-33.

General description technique/protocol: The amygdaloid projections in case E-24 were typical of animals with injections into the DL (Fig. 3A1–G1). The injection site in this case involved layers III–V of the dorsal part of the DL at middle rostrocaudal levels of this cortical region (Figs 1E, 2A). Collator note: injection into the mid-rostrocaudal ENTv. dorsolaterally placed, below the rhinal fissure. The injection is mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Levels 38-39.
