Few labeled fibers were seen in other subdivisions of the central nucleus, intra-amygdaloid portion of the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis, medial nucleus or amygdalohippocampal area.

few labeled fibers were seen in other subdivisions of the central nucleus, the medial nucleus or the amygdalohippocampal area. Collator note: labeled terminals in the lateral segment of the caudal PA. See Fig. 3E2-F2, Swanson Atlas Levels 30-33.

General description technique/protocol: The amygdaloid projections in case E-24 were typical of animals with injections into the DL (Fig. 3A1–G1). The injection site in this case involved layers III–V of the dorsal part of the DL at middle rostrocaudal levels of this cortical region (Figs 1E, 2A). Collator note: injection into the mid-rostrocaudal ENTv. dorsolaterally placed, below the rhinal fissure. The injection is mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Levels 38-39.
