Axons from the presubiculum coursed through the angular bundle to the parasubiculum and entorhinal cortex, where they formed a dense terminal field in layers I and Ili; however, only the deep part of layer 1 contained labeled axons (Fig. 5C). Collator note: the terminal field shown in Fig. 4C1, Swanson Atlas Levels 45-47 enters in the ventral corner of the caudalmost ENTl.
