91704 |
Secondary motor area | Rostrolateral visual area |
moderate/strong | PHAL | Collator note: quite strong labeling in the rostral part of the VISrl. See Fig. 1I-J, Swanson Atlas Levels 35-38 (-4.8 - -5.8 mm from bregma). More caudally the labeling is much weaker. | Guandalini P., 1998 |

Secondary motor area | Rostrolateral visual area |
light/moderate | PHAL | In the occipital cortex, the labeled fibers were detected in the secondary visual cortex only and were concentrated mainly in layers I–II and V–VI. Collator note: the overall pattern is more restricted than the case of the injection in the eye-field. see Fig. 6I-K, Swanson Atlas Levels 35-42 (-4.8 - 6.8 mm from bregma). | Guandalini P., 1998 |

General description technique/protocol: […] PHA-L injection was placed in a site of the medial frontal cortex whose ICMS evoked eye movements only. The injection site was confined within the gray matter and contained dense deposits of brown reaction product that did not spread further than 600 micrometers in the tangential plane (Fig. 2A). The core of
the injection site was located in layer V. Collator note: small PHAL injection in the mid-rostrocaudal MOs, mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Levels 16-17 (0 mm from bregma, Fig. 1D). |
