Collator note: relatively strong terminal field in the rostral (medial) part of the PTLp. See Fig. 1H-I, Swanson Atlas Levels 31-36 (-3.8 - -4.8 mm from bregma).

Collator note: moderate labeling in the caudal part of the PTLp. See Fig. 1J, Swanson Atlas Levels 37-38 (-5.25 -5.65 mm from bregma - remapped).

Collator note: PTLp appears labeled in its rostral half, but some labeled terminals may also be in the caudal part. Rostrally, the label is across layers. See Fig. 6H-I, Swanson Atlas Levels 31-38 (-3.8 - -4.8 mm from bregma).

General description technique/protocol: […] PHA-L injection was placed in a site of the medial frontal cortex whose ICMS evoked eye movements only. The injection site was confined within the gray matter and contained dense deposits of brown reaction product that did not spread further than 600 micrometers in the tangential plane (Fig. 2A). The core of the injection site was located in layer V. Collator note: small PHAL injection in the mid-rostrocaudal MOs, mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Levels 16-17 (0 mm from bregma, Fig. 1D).
