87485 Gustatory areasLateral nucleus of the amygdala moderate/strongbiocytin
In the lateral nucleus (L), moderately dense labeling was present in its rostral (from 2 to 3 mm behind bregma) half only, and was mostly distributed in the dorsolateral subdivision. Collator note: Fig. 5G-H, Swanson Atlas Levels 26-29 (-1.8 - 2.8 mm from bregma).

87495 Gustatory areasLateral nucleus of the amygdala strongbiocytin
In the lateral nucleus, labeling was present in its rostral (from 2 to 3 mm behind bregma) half only, and was virtually restricted to a narrow, dorsolateral segment (Fig. 7A,B). Collator note: Swanson Atlas Levels 26-27.
Shi C.J & Cassell M.D., 1998
General description technique/protocol: Case 20 (Figs. 3I, 4) had an injection into the deep layers of dPI (the gustatory dysgranular zone of Cechetto and Saper, 1987) at 1.4 mm anterior to bregma. Collator note: small bioctyin injection in the rostral part of the GU. The injection is completely included in the region, and it is mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Level 12.
