91558 Taenia tecta dorsal partCentral nucleus of amygdala medial part light/moderateHRP/WGA
In the amygdaloid complex, anterograde label was confined to the ipsilateral central nucleus (Fig. 7 A-D). Within the central nucleus, the labeling was restricted to the medial (CM) and ventral (CV) subdivisions of the nucleus (Fig. 7 B. C; Fig. 8) and the most medial part of the lateral subdivision (CL). Collator note: labeling in the CEAc and CEAm. See fig 8B-C, Swanson Atlas Levels 22-29.
Cassell M.D. & Wright D.J., 1986
General description technique/protocol: Case MF-12 involved a small focal injection into the taenia tecta at approximately 3 mm in front of bregma (Figs. 7, 8B). The densest part of the injection site was centered on the taenia tecta but the overall injection site included medial parts of the anterior olfactory nucleus (Fig. 7, top). Collator note: injection into the rostral TTd, mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Level 9. The halo enters for a very small distance in the ILA, and ventrally, the TTv, and possibly the most caudal part of the AONm is labeled.
