83308 Piriform areaEntorhinal area, lateral part light/moderateretrograde tracers
Collator note: band-like label in the PIR and AON, around the anterior commissure in this level. Difficult to map. See fig. 11A, Swanson Atlas Level 6.
Burwell R.D. & Amaral D.G., 1998
83320 Piriform areaEntorhinal area, lateral part moderate/strongretrograde tracers
Collator note: the pattern shown in this level, intense labeling of layer II in insular cortices is present in PIR, too, especially dorsally. See fig. 11B, Swanson Atlas Level 10.
Burwell R.D. & Amaral D.G., 1998
83334 Piriform areaEntorhinal area, lateral part strongretrograde tracers
Collator note: strong labeling in layer II, and moderate in the more deeper ones. See Fig. 11E, Swanson Atlas Levels 28-29.
Burwell R.D. & Amaral D.G., 1998
General description technique/protocol: Collator note: injection (case 124 FB) in the midrostrocaudal part of the ENTl. The injection is moderate in size, mid-ventrodorsally placed, and it is completely included in the ENTl. See Fig 6 for its position. The frontal levels that include this injection are difficult to evaluate. The caudalmost part of the injection is shown in Fig. 11G, Swanson Atlas Level.
