89676 Nucleus of the lateral olfactory tractPiriform area strongPHAL
A dense terminal field was observed bilaterally, with some contralateral predominance, in and around layer II of the anteromedial piriform cortex (Fig. 3F–J). Collator note: the strong terminal field in the PIR is present from the most rostral levels. See Fig. 3C-Jm Swanson Atlas Levels 5-24.

89677 Nucleus of the lateral olfactory tractPiriform area moderate/strongPHAL
[…] just rostral to the crossing of the anterior commissure, a very substantial terminal labeling was seen bilaterally in the deepest part of layer III of the piriform cortex (Figs. 3F–H, 5B), sometimes designated ventral endopiriform nucleus [,…]. Collator note: Swanson Atlas Levels 15-17.

89681 Nucleus of the lateral olfactory tractPiriform area light/moderatePHAL
Some labeled fibers coursed in the caudal endopiriform nucleus, giving rise to a modest bilateral terminal field in the caudolateral part of the piriform cortex (Fig. 3J,K). Collator note: Swanson Atlas Levels 23-26.

89713 Nucleus of the lateral olfactory tractPiriform area light/moderatePHAL
Collator note: labeling of the caudal PIR. See Fig. 6F-K, Swanson Atlas Levels 23-29.
Santiago A.C. & Shammah-Lagnado S.J., 2004
General description technique/protocol: Case 330, which had the largest number of PHA-L-labeled PP in layer II of LOT and minor involvement of adjoining amygdaloid districts (Figs. 1A, 2A,B), was chosen to illustrate our results (Figs. 3–5). Collator note: small PHAL injection in the NLOT, layer II, with small spill into AAA. The injection is mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Levels 23-24.
