Rostral to the injection site, labeling in dPI was somewhat reduced in density but extended rostrally to fill all layers of the dAI up to approximately 4 mm anterior to bregma (level +2.2, Fig. 4). Collator note: the caudal half of the Aid is moderately labeled. See Fig. 4B-D, Swanson Atlas Levels 10-15 (+2.2 - +0.7 mm from bregma).

General description technique/protocol: Case 21 (Figs. 3 and 4) had an injection located in gPI at 0.7 mm anterior to bregma . The injection site included cells in all layers of gPI. Collator note: small injection in the GU. The injection is completely included in the region and it is mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Levels 14-15.
