87573 Agranular insular area ventral partBasolateral nucleus of the amygdala anterior part strongbiocytin
In BL, heavy anterograde labeling was present at most rostral levels and greatly decreased caudally. Collator note: BLAa is strongly labeled rostrally. See Fig. 14A, Swanson Atlas Levels 26-27.

87574 Agranular insular area ventral partBasolateral nucleus of the amygdala anterior part light/moderatebiocytin
Collator note: weak-moderate labeling of the caudal BLAa. The labeling tends to agglomerate towards the lateral part. See Fig 14B, Swanson Atlas Levels 28-29.

87621 Agranular insular area ventral partBasolateral nucleus of the amygdala anterior part lightbiocytin
labeling in the BLA was conspicuously sparse […]. Collator note: few labeled fibers and terminals in the BLAa, rostrocaudally. See Fig 16A-C, Swanson Atlas Levels 26-29.
Shi C.J & Cassell M.D., 1998
General description technique/protocol: Case 22 had an injection in aAI at 2.7 mm anterior to bregma (Figs. 2, 12A). Collator note: small biocytin injection in the rostralmost AIv. The injection is completely included in the region and it is mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Levels 9-10.
