Anterior cingulate area ventral part | Prelimbic area |
moderate/strong | retrograde tracers | Collator note: label of layer II, and V, with some neurons in the intermediate layers, of the rostral ACAv. See Fig. 5C-D, Swanson Atlas Levels 11-16. | Conde F., Audinat E., Maire-Lepoivre E. & Crepel F., 1995 |

Anterior cingulate area ventral part | Prelimbic area |
light | retrograde tracers | Collator note: weak-moderate labeling of the ACAd, and weak in ACAv. Neurons in layer II are labeled, as well as some in layers III and V, in ACAd. See Fig. 5F-G, Swanson Atlas Levels 23-29. | Conde F., Audinat E., Maire-Lepoivre E. & Crepel F., 1995 |

General description technique/protocol: Collator note: case 42, retrograde tracer injection in the rostral PL, more ventrally, covering layers I-IV. The injection has a dorsal tail that labels the ventral ACAd in the injection level. Also, the halo covers almost the entire ACAd in the injection site level, as well as the PL in the next level. The injection is mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Level 8. |
