Infralimbic area | Anterior amygdaloid area |
moderate/strong | HRP/WGA | Anterograde label in the amygdaloid complex was restricted to the ipsilateral anterior amygdaloid area, the deep part of the anterior cortical nucleus (ACN) and the area between the basomedial, central and medial nuclei at all levels (Fig. 5A). Collator note: at least moderate labeling of the caudal AAA. See Fig. 5A, Swanson Atlas Levels 22-23. | Cassell M.D. & Wright D.J., 1986 |

General description technique/protocol: Case C-16 (Figs. 5, 8A) involved a caudal and focal injection into the infralimbic area at approximately 2 mm in front of bregma. The injection site did not spread into the adjacent prelimbic area but did include a small part of the taenia tecta (Fig. 5, top). Collator note: minimal involvement of the TTd. The injection site is mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Level 10. |
