Fisk G.A. & Wyss J.M., 2000
General description technique/protocol: PHA-L injections in IL labeled terminals in the medial portion of the caudate nucleus (Cn), the nucleus accumbens (nAc), the anterior olfactory nucleus (AOn), the diagonal band of Broca (dBB), the septum (Spt), and the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BNST) (Fig. 1A–C). Collator note: the presence of the anterior forceps in Fig 1A. indicates that closest Swanson Atlas Levels are 8-9. The septum is vaguely defined and Fig. 1B (roughly corresponds Swanson Atlas Levels 14-15) shows terminal fields in several subparts of the lateral septum rostral part.
