Orbital area ventrolateral part | Secondary motor area |
strong | Fluorogold | Rostrally there is extensive bilateral labeling in the ventrolateral (VLO) and medial (MO) areas of orbital cortex, heavier ipsilaterally (Figs. 3A, 6C). Collator note: Swanson Atlas Level 6. | Reep RL, Goodwin GS, Corwin JV., 1990 |

General description technique/protocol: The injection site in this brain is large and centered in rostral AGm at the level of the forceps minor (Fig. 3B), but also extends into mid AGm (Fig. 3C). It does not encroach on the white matter. Collator note: injection is shown in Fig. 3B, which corresponds to Swanson Atlas Levels 9-10. The injection covers the dorsal part of the MOs, with possible minor involvement of ACAd in this level - the halo only. Rostrocaudally, the injection extends up to levels 13-14. |
