Injections in area Oc1 rendered a moderate number of retrogradely labelled neurones (Fig. 9). They were found around the injection site and along the rostrocaudal axis of area Oc1, in occipital area 2, lateral part (Oc2L) and in the medial part (Oc2M) in both hemispheres. Collator note: in the rostral part of the visual-related areas, the labeled neurons are mostly in layers V-VI. See fig. 2B, Swanson Atlas Levels 35-36.
