At caudal levels. The label extended across the whole of the posterior part of the basolateral nucleus (BLNp). Collator note: see Fig 4C, Swanson Atlas Levels 28-29.

91535 Prelimbic areaBasolateral nucleus of the amygdala posterior part moderateHRP/WGA
Collator note: at least moderate label in the medial corner of the BLAp, more caudally. See Fig. 4D, Swanson Atlas Levels 30-31.
Cassell M.D. & Wright D.J., 1986
General description technique/protocol: Case MF-6 (Fig. 4) had a rostrally situated injection approximately 4 mm in front of bregma. The injection site included all of the rostral prelimbic area but did not extend into the infralimbic area (Fig. 4. top). There was minimal infiltration of ACv. Collator note: large injection in the rostralmost PL, with moderate inclusion of the ACAd. The injection site is mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Levels 6-7.
