General description technique/protocol: Since the injection site in experiment SUB-16 excompassed a retively broad extent of the ventral subiculum (Figs.1. 2), and a correspondingly dense patterns of fibers was labeled, this experiment was used to illustrate in detail the efferent projections to the amygdala, septum and hypothalamus.
