In the preoptic regions, relatively sparse numbers of marked cells were observed in the median preoptic, anteroventral periventricular, medial preoptic, anterodorsal preoptic, anteroventral preoptic, and parastrial nuclei, as well as in the undifferentiated part of the medial preoptic area.
