RetinaAnteroventral nucleus of thalamus existsnot knownCholera toxin conjugated to HRP
Case pg353-4. Soma notes 36 female Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 200-350g. 10 microliters of CT-HRP(.20%-.40%) were injected into one eye ?behind the lens into the vitreous chamber of the eye. pressure injection over 1 min. Terminal notes fibres can be seen in stria terminalis coursing rostrally from these more caudal levels. This pathway gives rise to the thalamic label reported earlier (anterior dorsal, anterior ventral thalamic nuc. and bed nuc. of the stria terminalis.).

Case pg433, fig4. Soma notes In 11 cases, injections made into various parts of AV. In case (R680) with inj involving central part of AV at its rostral third level

Anteroventral nucleus of thalamusParasubiculum lightnot knownPHAL
Case pg433, fig7. Soma notes In a case (R534) with inj restricted to dorsal AV; distribution labeled. Terminal notes distribution of labeled terminals similar to that seen in R532, --Fig7: Moderate but only close to PRE border: sparse--.

Case pg234, fig4. Soma notes Small injs of PHA-L were made into parasubiculum: small inj in intermediate part of parasubiculum (PHA35). Terminal notes 3rd group of axons?few fibres left fimbria & ended ?in stratum moleculare of temporal 1/3 of subiculum.

ParasubiculumSubiculum ventral part existsnot knownPHAL
A few fibers left the fimbria, and ended in stratum moleculare of the temporal third of area CA1, and in stratum moleculare of the temporal third of the subiculum, ipsilaterally. Collator note: connections not shown.
