Annotation: The D 3 receptor m RNA probe consisted of a Barn H I-Ava I restriction fragment, corresponding to the third intracytoplasmic loop of the receptor, and has been described previously. Single-stranded RNA probes were synthesized using a Riboprobe kit (Promega) with [32P]UTP, [33P]UTP, [35S]UTP or a mixture of digoxigenin-UTP and non-labeled UTP (75:25) with T7 or SP6 RNA polymerase and linearized recombinant plasmids in the proper orientation (10 ng) as templates.
