Calbindin (CB) expressing neuron | not known | left hemisphere | patchy | ...this nucleus [BSt] is mostly populated by CR and CB cells. These...2 cell types show and overlapping distribution, although CR cells tend to be shifted from a central position rostrally (Fig. 1D) to a more lateral position caudally (Fig. 2B). Collator note: experimental results have been directly mapped onto Swanson-98 parcellation scheme. Calbindin appears only in the dorsal part, close to the anterior commissure. In the ventral part, it appears, maybe, only in the fusiform nucleus (see Figs. 1C&D).
