73659 Anterodorsal nucleus of the thalamusSecondary motor area strongFluorogold
Several nuclei of the thalamus were strongly labeled including the paraventricular (PV), mediodorsal (MD), interanteromedial (IAM), anteromedial (AM), paracentral (PC), central lateral (CL), central medial (CM) intermediodorsal (IMD), rhomboid (RH), ventromedial (VM), and RE (Fig. 1M–P). Labeling was particularly pronounced within MD, VM, RH, and RE. Collator note: Swanson Atlas Levels 27-33.
Hoover W.B. & Vertes R.P, 2007
General description technique/protocol: Collator note: fluorogold injection in the rostral part of the MOS, covering the majority if not all, cortical layers. The maximal extent of the injection is shown in Fig. 1A, which corresponds to Swanson Atlas Level 5.

Further details associated to record number 73659:
Position of injection: rostral
Topological position of injection: disjoint
Extension of injection outside: none
The injection was performed in: left hemisphere
Position of terminal field: ventral
Topological position of terminal field: disjoint
Extension of terminal field outside: none
The terminal field was found: ipsilateral
