Area Fr2 contained an abundance of labeled cells bilaterally throughout its rostrocaudal extent, with the exception of the frontal pole (Fig. 4B-E). Collator note: the labeling is more intense in the rostral part of the MOS, and it is restricted in the dorsal part. Swanson Atlas Levels 11-23.

General description technique/protocol: An injection of fast blue was centered in layers I-V of area VO, with minor involvement of areas MO and VLO as well (Figs. 3A, 8A). Collator note: this injection is mapped in the ORBv, as the authors, but the level shown in Fig 3A is closer to Swanson Atlas Level 5 than Swanson Atlas 7. A band of labeled neurons is shown as a marker of the pippette. No Nissl stain to compare.
