In the rostral part of area Oc2L (3.6– 4.6 mm posterior to bregma), which, together with area Oc2M, constitutes posterior association area (Paxinos and Watson, 1997; Swanson 1998), plexuses of labeled axons appeared in layers I–III (levels 3.7 and 4.5 in Fig. 4). Collator note: PTLp is labeled quite densely rostrally, especially in its medial part. See Fig. 4, Swanson Atlas Levels 30-35.
