General description technique/protocol: Injections aimed 2.5 mm anterior to the lambda-point and 6 mm lateral to the midline were recovered in the anterior portion of the callosal-free oval in lateral extrastriate cortex. In the case shown in Figure 8, the injection was centered in anterior AL where the upper visual field is represented. Collator note: PHAL injection in rostral VISal, labeling at least the deep layers. No spill in other areas. See Figure 8. The injection is shown at -6.04 mm from bregma, which corresponds to Swanson Atlas Level 35.
