58863 Agranular insular area dorsal partBed nuclei of the stria terminalis, anterior division, subcommisural zone lightCTB
First, two areas in cerebral cortex were lightly labeled: the infralimbic and insular cortical areas (Figs. 4A,C,E,F, 5A). Small numbers of weakly labeled neurons were found in both of these sites, consistent with anterograde data showing, for example, a light projection from infralimbic cortex targeting BSTvl subnuclei primarily outside the fusiform region injected in this case (Dong et al., 2001a). Collator note: Atlas Levels 7-8. This projection is described in the paper, but does not appear very clearly in Fig 4A (just a dot in AId).

General description technique/protocol: Collator note: injection mostly centered in BSTsc with some extension in BSTfu. Atlas Level 19. Case number: 8252.
