As with CA1, labeled cells spread heavily throughout the extent of the ventral subiculum (Figs. 8t, 10b). Collator note: Swanson Atlas Levels 39-40, which are the most caudal for the ventral subiculum.

Collator note: this connection is considered to be absent, because all of the atlas levels were inspected by authors and collators.
Hoover W.B. & Vertes R.P, 2007
General description technique/protocol: Collator note: FG injection into the caudal part of the ILA. The injection is shown in Fig.8 E-F, which corresponds to Swanson Atlas Layers 9-10. Dorsoventrally, the injection occupies the ventral part of the ILA. It is possible that in Atlas Level 10 (Fig. 8E) the deep layers of the TTd are involved. If so, the spread, as compared, is minimal. The injection involves all ILA layers, including Layer I.

Further details associated to record number 77353:

Topological position of injection: is contained
Extension of injection outside: none
The injection was performed in: left hemisphere
