In EC, terminal labeling was found mainly in superficial layers of the more caudal portions of the dorsal lateral and dorsal intermediate parts of LEC (Fig. 4D, E). Collator note: weak-moderate labeling of the caudal ENTl, in the ventral part. Labeled terminals are found in all layers, with concentrations in layers III and V. Swanson Atlas Levels 41-44.

General description technique/protocol: In a representative case (case F-25), the BDA injection involved mainly layer III, with some involvement of layers II and V, at a midrostrocaudal level of MO (Figs. 2, 3A, 4, Table 2).
