91795 Orbital area ventrolateral partPerirhinal area very strongbiotinylated dextran amine (BDA)
this injection gave rise to a dense plexus of labeled terminal axons rostrally in PER at the fundus and the dorsal bank of the rhinal sulcus, involving dorsal area 35 and ventral area 36 (Figs. 5B, 11B). This patch of dense axonal label was located in a restricted rostrocaudal zone (less than 1 mm), where the dorsal hippocampus makes contact with the ventral hippocampus in coronal sections. Collator note: Swanson Atlas Levels 32-33.

91797 Orbital area ventrolateral partPerirhinal area light/moderatebiotinylated dextran amine (BDA)
Collator note: rostralmost, PERI is labeled weakly-moderate, mostly in layer VI. See Fig. 5A, Swanson Atlas Level 31.
Kondo H. & Witter M.P., 2014
91799 Orbital area ventrolateral partPerirhinal area moderatebiotinylated dextran amine (BDA)
Collator note: clear continuation of the terminal field from ECT, at least in the rostroventral part of the TEA. See Fig 5A, Swanson Atlas Level 31.
Kondo H. & Witter M.P., 2014
91800 Orbital area ventrolateral partPerirhinal area lightbiotinylated dextran amine (BDA)
Labeling intensity in PER decreased at more caudal levels (Fig. 5C,D) […]. Collator note: few terminals in layers VI and III. See Fig. 5D, Swanson Atlas Levels 40-41.
Kondo H. & Witter M.P., 2014
91819 Orbital area ventrolateral partPerirhinal area moderate/strongbiotinylated dextran amine (BDA)
Caudal POR showed moderate to dense labeling of terminating axons (Figs. 6F, 12B), was also the case for the rostral PER, especially around the border between areas 35 and 36 (Fig. 6B). Collator note: moderate-strong terminal field in the dorsal PERI and ventral ECT, in layers II-III. Se Fig. 6B, Swanson Atlas Levels 32-33.
Kondo H. & Witter M.P., 2014
91821 Orbital area ventrolateral partPerirhinal area very lightbiotinylated dextran amine (BDA)
Labeling in PER decreased at more rostral levels (Fig. 6A) and at more caudal levels (Fig. 6C,D). Collator note: very few labeled fibers in the rostralmost part of the PERI and ECT. See Fig. 6A, Swanson Atlas Levels 30-31.
Kondo H. & Witter M.P., 2014
General description technique/protocol: In a representative case (case F-17), the BDA injection targeted the lateral portion of VO at a caudal level (Figs. 2, 5). The injection involved mainly layers II and III.Collator note: injection in the caudal third of the ORBvl. See Figs. 1, 2, and 5. The injection is mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Levels 5-6.
