Some nuclei of the amygdala displayed networks of labelled fibers as dense as that of the nucleus accumbens, in particular the basolateral and basomedial (or accessary) nuclei, although many fibers were seen also in the lateral nucleus and a few in the medial nucleus. Collator note: the labeling of the LA is seen best in its rostral part. See Fig. 4G-H, Swanson Atlas Levels 26-29.
