Collator note: moderate labeling in the perirhinal cortex. The terminal field has a diagonal orientation, from the Tev to the ECT. The labeling is in the middle layers. See Fig. 2E, Swanson Atlas Level 38.
Beckstead RM., 1979
General description technique/protocol: In case FC-3 (fig. 2A, a small deposit of radioactive label is centered in the prelimbic area (area 32) and involves cells in all cortical laminae. The injection appears to be confined to the area which Krettek and Price 1977) consider to receive MD-afferents from the anterior part of the medial subnucleus. Collator note: case FC3, injection with radioactive aminoacids. See Fig 2A, Swanson Atlas Level 9. The injection covers all cortical layers, and extends in the ventral ACAd. Possible labeling of the dorsal ILA.
