80895 Retrosplenial area ventral part zone b/cSecondary motor area not presentbiotinylated dextran amine (BDA)
Collator note: no terminals shown in Fig 1 G-J.
Shibata H., Kondo S. & Naito J., 2004
80912 Retrosplenial area ventral part zone b/cSecondary motor area lightbiotinylated dextran amine (BDA)
As one examines labeling within this level in the caudorostral direction, labeling gradually shifts ventrodorsally such that at caudal levels, labeling is found in the dorsal part of area 24a, then at mid-rostrocaudal levels in area 24b, and finally at rostral levels in the secondary motor area (Fig. 1L–O). Collator note: Fig. 1M, which roughly corresponds to Swanson Atlas Levels 17-19. MOs is labeled very weakly in layer I, and weak-to-moderate in layer III. The fibers have a diagonal direction, from the cingulum towards the ventralmost part of the MOs, labeling intensely the ACAd.
Shibata H., Kondo S. & Naito J., 2004
80913 Retrosplenial area ventral part zone b/cSecondary motor area light/moderatebiotinylated dextran amine (BDA)

80915 Retrosplenial area ventral part zone b/cSecondary motor area strongbiotinylated dextran amine (BDA)
1N, which roughly corresponds to Swanson Atlas Levels 12-13. A patchy terminal field is shared by MOs and ACAd, in layer III. Layer I of both regions have a couple of fibers.

Collator note: Swanson Atlas Levels 38-42.

General description technique/protocol: The injections involved all cortical layers and were successfully made into area 29a (2 cases) […] Collator note: BDA injection made in the rostral third of the RSPv-a. Comparing the local curvature of the cortex, the size and shape of the dorsal forceps of the corpus callosum, and the relative position and size of the DG with respect of the fiber systems, we mapped the injection site in Swanson Atlas Levels 41-42.

Further details associated to record number 81025:
Position of injection: mid-rostro-caudal
Topological position of injection: identical
Extension of injection outside: none
The injection was performed in: left hemisphere
