Collator note: very strong labeling of the caudal part of the cortical amygdala. The entire terminal field has an arc appearance, guided by the position of TR layers. The terminal field then abuts the stria terminalis and labels very intensely all caudal amygdalar regions, except PA. See Fig 3A-B, Swanson Atlas Levels 34-38.

General description technique/protocol: Collator note: experiment 376-1, retrograde tracer injection in the rostral PL, in the deep layers. The core of the injection is located in PL, but the injection is labeling the dorsal part of the ILA. The injection site is mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Level 9. See Fig. 1, page 398.
