90764 Lateral nucleus of the amygdalaEctorhinal area very lightPHAL
The [...] medial division projected lightly to area 36 (Figs 3 and 5, Table 1). The medial division [innervated], particularly its rostral portion, projected to layers I–VI of the caudal two-thirds of the most ventral extreme of area 36 (Figs 3 and 5, Table 1). Only the projection to layers I and V reached the more dorsal aspect of area 36 (Fig. 5C,D). Collator note: -2.56 - -3.80 mm from bregma, Swanson Atlas Levels 28-32.
Pikkarainen M & Pitkanen A, 2001
90765 Lateral nucleus of the amygdalaEctorhinal area strongPHAL
The dorsolateral and medial divisions provided heavy topographically organized projections to the postrhinal cortex (Figs 3, 4F,G and 5F,G, Table 1). The highest density of terminal labeling was observed in layers I–III of the rostroventral aspect of the postrhinal cortex. Collator note: POR is remapped here onto caudal ECT, Swanson Atlas Levels 44-46 (-76.4 - -8.30 mm from bregma).
Pikkarainen M & Pitkanen A, 2001
90766 Lateral nucleus of the amygdalaEctorhinal area light/moderatePHAL
Collator note: the more caudal LA medial injections produce weak-moderate projections in the caudal ECT, mostly distributed in layers I-III. See Table 1, page 1070. Swanson Atlas Levels 44-46 (-76.4 - -8.30 mm from bregma).
Pikkarainen M & Pitkanen A, 2001
90767 Lateral nucleus of the amygdalaEctorhinal area lightPHAL
The ventrolateral division originated the weakest projection from the lateral nucleus to the postrhinal cortex (Fig. 3, Table 1). Light terminal labeling innervated layers I–V of the rostral two-thirds of the most ventral postrhinal cortex. Collator note: See Table 1, page 1070. Swanson Atlas Levels 44-46 (-76.4 - -8.30 mm from bregma).
Pikkarainen M & Pitkanen A, 2001
90769 Lateral nucleus of the amygdalaEctorhinal area moderatePHAL
The dorsolateral division innervated mainly the caudal two-thirds of ventral area 36 (Figs 3 and 4). Projections terminated in layer I, whereas layers II–VI contained only a few terminals intermingled with passing fibers. In the more dorsal aspect of area 36, the light projection terminated almost exclusively in layer I (Fig. 4B–D). Collator note: see also Table 1, page 1070. -5.80 - -6.80 mm from bregma, Swanson Atlas Levels 38-41.
Pikkarainen M & Pitkanen A, 2001
90770 Lateral nucleus of the amygdalaEctorhinal area strongPHAL
The dorsolateral and medial divisions provided heavy topographically organized projections to the postrhinal cortex (Figs 3, 4F,G and 5F,G, Table 1). The highest density of terminal labeling was observed in layers I–III of the rostroventral aspect of the postrhinal cortex. Collator note: layer V is lightly labeled at best. Swanson Atlas Levels 44-46 (-76.4 - -8.30 mm from bregma).

90771 Lateral nucleus of the amygdalaEctorhinal area lightPHAL
The dorsolateral division innervated mainly the caudal two-thirds of ventral area 36 (Figs 3 and 4). Projections terminated in layer I, whereas layers II–VI contained only a few terminals intermingled with passing fibers. In the more dorsal aspect of area 36, the light projection terminated almost exclusively in layer I (Fig. 4B–D). Collator note: see also Table 1, page 1070. -2.56 - -3.80 mm from bregma, Swanson Atlas Levels 28-32.
