General description technique/protocol: In R431 the posterior division of the basolateral nucleus is selectively involved within the central area of the injection (fig. 8), and there is no significant involvement of the anterior division of this nucleus. Collator note: small injection in the mid-rostrocaudal part of the BLAp. The injection is completely included in the region, and only the dorsal halo may have entered into the ventral LA. The injection site is mapped here onto Swanson Atlas Levels 30-31.
